Dr. Kim received his Ph.D. on Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington in December 2006. He has worked as a full time research associate in the Micro/Nao-Scale Heat Transfer Laboratory at the University of Texas at Arlington under Dr. Seung-Mun You since January 2007, focusing on enhancement of pool boiling heat transfer by microporous coating techniques with applications to microelectronics cooling and energy savings. Dr. Kim holds two US Patents and consults an electronic cooling company for thermal design issue. Dr. Kim is a member of ASME and is the author of more than 10 publications.
